Trying to stop today’s explosive offenses has become an enormous challenge for defensive coaches. Having to defend the spread option, power run game, vertical passing game and the single wing (Wildcat) on a weekly basis will definitely keep you up late at night. Designing a game plan that is flexible and well thought out can give you an edge over your opponent.
