DIAGRAM: "Wham Pass." This is an excellent play-action pass play to use on the goal line off of Wham counter action. The offensive line blocks the inside gap with the center punching through any A-gap, on-the-line defender and wheeling around to block the DE. Receiver No. 1 starts out in motion and runs a slant route into the corner, while receiver No. 2 executes a fake cut-block and runs a flat route. The QB rolls out and looks for receiver 1 or 2.
