DIAGRAM: This boot leg out of shot-gun motion is one of our best play-action passes. Many defenses fail to account for the TB after the fake is carried out. For this play to work, the TB must be a great actor and must not show the play too soon. The QB looks to the boot-leg side and keeps rolling until he draws the backside defenders toward him. The QB dumps a pass back across the field to the TB. The TB secures the ball, reads his blocking and heads upfield.
