Featured Plays - Halfback Split Pass

The offensive line blocking scheme will vary depending upon the defensive alignment.

Left end will run a crossing route about 5- to 7-yards over the middle, while the right flanker will run a 5- to 7-yard out pattern to the sideline.

Quarterback will drop back and roll out to the right.

The fullback will fill in front of the QB for extra protection and take on any rusher that gets through.

Halfback will run just outside of the tight end's right shoulder and read the corner's drop. That will determine which way the HB will break into his pattern — either running a deep out pattern or deep to the middle of the field.

QB's first read will be the HB, then follow progressions.
